Beginning Thursday evening and concluding Sunday afternoon
Wellsboro, Pennsylvania
There are seasons in life when we are invited to remember who we are. Winter is one of those seasons. As the forest grows quiet and the earth rests beneath its blanket of snow, nature gently reminds us that renewal begins not through striving, but through stillness. Sacred Forest Spirit Retreat is an invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life, restore your spirit, and return to yourself.
Nestled in the peaceful forests of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, the Sacred Forest Spirit Retreat offers an intimate four-day experience where ancient wisdom and holistic healing come together in a warm and nurturing environment. Rather than escaping life, this retreat is an opportunity to return to it with greater clarity, balance, and purpose.
Guided by Grandmother Enolia Harris Pedro and Keron Dufresne ("Running Wolf"), this retreat gently weaves together Indigenous wisdom traditions, Lakota Raindrop Therapy, shamanic healing, meditation, breathwork, sacred ceremony, herbal teachings, and meaningful community. Every element has been intentionally designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional restoration, spiritual connection, and personal transformation.
Winter provides the perfect setting for this journey. While the quiet beauty of the forest surrounds us, much of our time is spent gathered in warm, welcoming spaces where healing unfolds through conversation, ceremony, meditation, drumming, and shared experience. Short contemplative walks through the winter landscape invite us to experience the stillness of nature without requiring strenuous outdoor activity, allowing the season itself to become one of our greatest teachers.
Throughout the retreat, participants will experience guided meditation, Lakota Raindrop Therapy, shamanic healing sessions, breathwork, drum journeys, healing circles, herbal wisdom teachings, sacred fire ceremonies, journaling, and opportunities for deep personal reflection. Between structured experiences, there is ample time to rest, enjoy nourishing meals, connect with fellow participants, or simply sit quietly with a warm cup of tea as the peaceful winter landscape unfolds outside.
More than a retreat, this is a sanctuary where you can step away from constant demands, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with the wisdom that already lives within you. You will leave not only refreshed, but with practical tools, renewed perspective, and a deeper relationship with yourself, nature, and the sacred rhythms of life.
Your Journey
Thursday Evening – Arriving Home
Your experience begins as you arrive at our peaceful retreat setting and settle into the warmth of your accommodations. Following a welcoming dinner, we gather for our Opening Circle, introductions, intention setting, meditation, and a sacred fire ceremony. The evening is dedicated to gently transitioning from the outside world into a space of presence, peace, and community.
Friday – Entering the Stillness
The day begins with meditation and breathwork before exploring the foundations of Indigenous wisdom, herbal teachings, and practices that support nervous system regulation and inner balance. Weather permitting, we take a gentle contemplative walk through the quiet winter forest, allowing nature's stillness to deepen our awareness. The day concludes with healing circles, drumming, and evening ceremony around the fire.
Saturday – Healing and Renewal
Saturday is the heart of our retreat. Individual Lakota Raindrop Therapy sessions, shamanic healing experiences, guided meditation, breathwork, drum journeys, and sacred ceremony create space for profound restoration and personal transformation. Quiet periods throughout the day encourage journaling, integration, and meaningful reflection before we gather for our closing celebration of gratitude and community.
Sunday – Returning Renewed
Our final morning begins in meditation, followed by a Closing Circle where we reflect on our shared journey, receive practical tools for continuing our personal practice at home, and honor the friendships and transformations that have emerged. Participants depart carrying renewed clarity, restored balance, and a deeper sense of connection with themselves and the natural world.
