You are warmly invited into a sacred, all-day ceremonial journey of remembrance, where your Medicine Drum is born through prayer, breath, and deep listening. In Indigenous ways, the drum is a living heartbeat—an extension of your medicine, carrying your song into the world.
Medicine Woman Enolia Harris Pedro will open sacred space by honoring the land and calling in the ancestors. Through cleansing, song, and ritual, you will learn the ancient language of the drum—how it speaks, how it is used, and how it walks with you in ceremony, prayer, and healing. Within a protected ceremonial circle, each participant will birth their own drum in the traditional way, receiving a 15-inch hoop, rawhide, and materials to create a drum beater.

Honoring all my drum students from around the world!

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the Chek Family for so graciously hosting the Native Drum Making in Ceremony Workshop over Memorial Weekend. Our shared journey was profoundly moving—an experience that will remain etched in my heart forever.
To have the workshop at Rainbow was phenomenal. The breathtaking beauty of the land, with its vibrant colors, expansive skies, and lush surroundings, created a truly magical setting. The energy of the land itself felt amplified, as though the earth was alive with its own resonance, which added a profound layer of inspiration and connection to the workshop experience. Being immersed in such a stunning environment elevated the entire gathering, inviting everyone to open their hearts and minds even further.
The beautiful drums birthed during this workshop carry deep meaning and purpose. As each of you who participated carries forward this extension of yourselves, may your presence and the vibrations of your drums touch all you encounter in the highest and most harmonious ways.
You each hold a very special place in my heart, and I hope the memories and spirit of this experience will stay with you always.
